Personality: Qualen is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Richard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and an old rival family wants him found

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age her father died while driving off some goblins. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in club use. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kansif fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
