Personality: Emerald is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Donella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and retire the richest woman in the east

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Pelt learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Pelt alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Merchant soon after.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Baker, and she later adopted a second son.
