History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barrister. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
