History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Artin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Ilanis hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ilanis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ilanis. She would ruin relationships and cause injury.
