History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Ortegar reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Theodoric was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Shipwright and occasionally as a mercenary.
