History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jarana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Tordrid liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.
