History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Portia was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: Shedinn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Being a Dyer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
