Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Balam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Dilettante soon after.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west to a Doctor, Antinua learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She has no hair. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
