History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Edge lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bounty Hunter and was forced into it by her family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
