History: Barendd hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Barendd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Farmer. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Ilga lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
