Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. During her travels, Leshanna and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Leshanna discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
