History: He was born in a small island village. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rendar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
