Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
