History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Astar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Astar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. A true patriot, Sweet would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Sweet was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Sweet was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has achieved small success as a Fisher.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. She has a hunchback. Her hair is white and very short. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter mother left her crippled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to reunite with her absent mother

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze. She has slicked back blonde hair. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She got into the Bellfounder business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. She struck the Bellfounder job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and balancing her hectic life and new bellfounder responsibilities is difficult
