History: Katherine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

History: Mardnab lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
