History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Broce was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Broce grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Broce. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Spring lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

History: She was born in a small island village. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by her family
