History: Adrik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Eloise alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She is a Slaad in disguise. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Ootah was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ootah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ootah. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
