History: Shamil hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fletcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
