When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lorilla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Lorilla has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: The child of a Actor, who enjoyed hunting, Gorfel was taken on many hunting expeditions. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Barakas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Adventurer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
