Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Flame lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Priest, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Banker soon after.

Motivation: To be a Priest again; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'6" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She dresses well, wearing green shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her red hair is smooth and relatively long. Her white eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Junk Dealer, who enjoyed hunting, Markosian was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mercenary. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Description: An older man who wears a simple tan robe with violet stripes complete with hood, he is not a threatening figure. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Jabbie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by his family; and to be a map maker again

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. She wears dull black sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed halberd, just in case. She has a hunchback. She keeps her silver hair in a flapper bob. She is baby faced.

Personality: Nagrette is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nagrette does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He wears a black collared shirt and yellow pants. He accessorizes with a tan scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has decided he is irredeemable
