When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Nicor was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
