History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peter was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His childhood dream was to be a Priest, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marigold grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rurik grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rurik. He bought a trident and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
