History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cartwright. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Valorean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Valorean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
