History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Synthrin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants revenge against gnolls

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Beiro was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bounty Hunter. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world
