Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Dara abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Rimple was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
