History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Virra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Virra has worked very hard to control her curse. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Through the years after Nalaed was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nalaed's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
