History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, William has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by her family

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'2" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is long and unkept. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Barendd lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his son
