Personality: Spear is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Spear alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Loopmottin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Loopmottin was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Loopmottin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Azzakh was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
