Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. After coming to the age of reason, Cory took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

This search led her directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
