History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has black hair. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her silver hair is long and unkept. Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Gunnloda wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Gunnloda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a simple brown robe with tan stripes complete with hood. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Gimurt hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age her mother died while driving off some gnolls. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shortbow use. After a long history of fighting, Jade and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud
