History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. During his travels, William and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, William discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. William fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Forcas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Forcas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
