His father taught him the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Skamos was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Soveliss grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Soveliss. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
