He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Verin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Verin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Beggar. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: He is content; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she has decided she is irredeemable
