History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mardnab grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Tordek was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
