History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Thorpe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sarah studied abroad. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
