Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helgret grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Scribe and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Nithther was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and someone believes him a fraud
