History: Chaedi was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Quarethon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarethon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
