History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Unemployed job and began his own company from there.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ethereal does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
