History: Carlin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Through the years after Carlin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Carlin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
