History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Shamash was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Junk Dealer, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Loopmottin hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Loopmottin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Born to a Mercenary, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and revenge
