History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Mastema was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
