Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Hatae is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Servant, and she later adopted a second son.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
