History: Galiena hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Galiena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and revenge

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Gardener. She tends to her Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
