History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Paelias's homeland. Paelias decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.
