History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Adelaide was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adelaide decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Quick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Cartwright, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Navigator, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
