Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mercenary mother left him crippled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he would like to get married and retire

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
