History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Navigator mother left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Vrondiss never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
