Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Adelaide was born with her father's beautiful face. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born in the east to a Slave Trader, Bidreked learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His head has been shaved. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Crown-heir. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
