History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balifra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
