Personality: Carlin is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a Ploughman, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her red crest is greasy and uncared for. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and she is greedy

Description: A 5'5" southern man, he dresses like a well dressed Courier does. He has shaved his head bald. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Courier, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: An older man who wears bulky pastel painted plate armor, he is not a threatening figure. His cinnamon fur is lengthy. His eyes are green.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Shadow lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Shadow was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shadow's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his father struggled to pay the bills. Thomas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion
